2015 Ping Pong Challenge for Charity

Star athletes from the Green Bay Packers and Milwaukee Brewers joined SURG Restaurant Group Wednesday to participate in the second annual Ping Pong Challenge for Charity. The tournament, hosted at SURG on the Water in Milwaukee’s Third Ward, benefitted Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin’s Critical Care Unit.

Several of the top players from the Packers and Brewers were in attendance supporting Children’s Hospital. Packers in attendance included Pro Bowl wide receiver Randall Cobb, Pro Bowl running back Eddie Lacy, second year wide receiverDavante Adams and Packers all-time leading rusher Ahman Green. Representing the Brewers was five-time All-Star and 2011 NL MVP Ryan Braun, World Series champion Kyle Lohse and pitchers Mike Fiers, Matt Garza, Jeremy Jeffress and Will Smith.

Ryan Braun won the tournament and earned the coveted Ping Pong Challenge championship belt, defeating defending champion Randall Cobb in the final match.

Presented by Associated Bank, the Ping Pong Challenge for Charity was also supported by Kohl’s, Ernst & Young, Gruber Law Offices, the Orthopedic Institute of Wisconsin, Miller Lite and Lammi Sports Management.
