Donald Driver’s Sixth Annual Softball Game

July 2nd, 2013

The Sixth Annual Donald Driver Softball Game proved to be another great event for both fans and the game’s corporate partners alike. With a sellout crowd of over 9,000 fans taking in the action from Fox Cities Stadium in Appleton, Wisconsin, the game’s partners saw activation through a number of different channels, including jersey sponsorships, creative in-game promotions, PA announcements, commercials airing on the stadium scoreboard, physical signage throughout the stadium and much more. In addition to the fans on hand to watch the game live, the event was also rebroadcast statewide on local affiliate networks in every major DMA.

Lammi Sports asked the event’s main corporate partners, Kwik Trip and Thrivent Financial for Lutherans, to weigh in with their experience related to the game and get their thoughts on the event’s impact for their brand. Here’s what they had to say:

“Thanks to your team for another outstanding event. It takes a lot of work and we really appreciate how well you portray Kwik Trip’s image and your company compliments our mission statement. You do make a difference.”
-Kwik Trip “Partnering with Lammi Sports and the 2013 Donald Driver Charity Softball game provided a unique opportunity for Thrivent Financial to live out its mission of ‘inspiring generosity.’ With the Packer players scoring 16 home runs, Thrivent Financial generously contributed $3,200 to Feeding America through the “Home Runs for the Hungry” event. Our employees, who participated in the game, both on-field and in the stands, had a wonderful time. Thank you Lammi Sports for your expertise and professionalism. And thank you to the Green Bay Packer players and Donald Driver for coming out to support such a worthy cause.”
-Thrivent Financial
