Coach Rob Mendez Extends Exclusive Marketing Contract with Lammi Sports

2019 ESPYS Jimmy V Perseverance Award Winner Coach Rob Mendez has re-signed a multi-year, exclusive marketing contract extension with Lammi Sports Management.  Coach Rob has inspired fans around the world with his successful football coaching career and motivational leadership presentations as he deals with

tetra-amelia syndrome, a rare disorder that caused him to be born without arms or legs.

In just 10 months since being honored with his ESPYS Award, Coach Rob Mendez has been honored at the Tribeca Film Festival, featured on the front cover of ESPN the Magazine, SportsCenter, NFL Network, cooking with Rachel Ray, appeared in the NFL’s 100th Anniversary commercial and appeared in Google’s Year in Search “Heroes” Video that has been viewed 153,222,777 times.

Coach Rob has traveled around the country inspiring organizations with speaking engagements, including Microsoft, US Postal Service, Los Angeles Rams, Green Bay Packers and more. Coach Rob’s autobiography will be released nationally in Fall of 2021.

Unable to play football, Mendez learned the fundamentals of the sport by playing the Madden Video Game. He became a manager for his high school football team as a freshman in high school and served as the team’s quarterbacks c

oach his senior year. After spending 12 years serving as an assistant coach at various local high school programs, Mendez was named junior varsity head coach at Prospect–a Bay Area high school ahead of the 2018 season. The team has posted a 16–4 overall record in Rob’s first two seasons as head coach and made the Championship Game each year.
